Watch Elizabeth Smart Testimony Video Streaming

Elizabeth Smart was abducted from her bedroom last 2002 last Thursday she testified that she was daily raped by her abductor and threatened to be killed if she yelled or tries to escape. She described her abductor, Brian David Mitchell who was once a street preacher, as "evil, wicked, manipulative, stinky, slimy, selfish, not spiritual, not religious, not close to God." It is said that Mitchell wanted Smart as a polygamous wife and may have taken her to fulfill a "religious prophecy" he laid out in a 27-page manifesto drafted in April 2002. Smart's testimonial in US District Court was part of a competency proceeding for Mitchell, the man charged of her kidnapping seven years ago. Mitchell has been found incompetent for trial twice. Earlier this week a judge ruled that now at the age of 21, Smart's testimony will have a great weight on the mental competency of Mitchell. Mitchell was removed from the courtroom before Smart arrived and taken to a holding cell where he could listen to the court proceedings.
